BlueScope Steel Logistics provides the in-house capability to deliver flexible and cost effective supply chain solutions to our customers.

Drawing on in-house skills and extensive transport industry relationships, we can design and manage supply chains, from inbound raw materials through to final handling and delivery of products to customers.

We have 75 years of experience in the transport and logistics arena and provide a safe, reliable and flexible service. Our operational systems and processes ensure a high degree of safety. We don't take risks with our customers' cargoes, people's safety, or the environment.

Steel products are handled via established road, rail and marine networks through strategic alliances with major contractors throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

Within these transportation areas, we develop and implement industry leading safety practices for packing, load restraint, handling techniques and fatigue management.

Critical decisions, including where to locate and how to optimise the consolidation and storage of customer warehousing, can be supported by the skills of our people.

BlueScope Steel Logistics:

Manage warehousing facilities at key delivery points around Australasia. Terminals managed by Logistics, are based close to despatch sites and steel service centres.
Assist with the design of distribution systems.
Develop key in-house capabilities using leading edge logistics modelling processes and technologies.
Bring intelligent e-business solutions providing improved visibility across the supply chain.
Provide the reliable and flexible delivery of BlueScope Steel products, in line with customer's service expectations
