Established in 1995, BlueScope Steel Indonesia is the one and only local manufacturer of zinc/aluminium metallic coated and prepainted steel. We produce high quality ZINCALUME® steel, Clean COLORBOND® steel, PELANGI® steel, ABADI® steel, GEMILANG® steel, INTERIOR® steel, and INDAH® steel. These products are supplied to customers for industrial, residential and manufacturing applications. Our product thickness sizes range from 0.20 mm bmt to 1.00 mm bmt, with the width from 762mm to 1219mm.

We offer high corrosion performance for our products. We deliver customer satisfaction, with the adding values of warranty against corrosion by perforation, qualified technical back-up, and product quality control.

Our production capacity is about 100 000 tonnes of metallic coated steel and 40 000 tonnes of prepainted steel per year.

Current under construction, a second metallic coating line, with in-line painting capability, is expected to be commissioned in mid 2011. The new line will produce thin gauge coil (0.2 – 0.4 mm) for residential construction applications. Total combined capacity will rise to 265,000 tonnes per annum of metallic coated and 160,000 tonnes per annum of painted steel.

BlueScope Lysaght Indonesia was founded in 1973 and is a pioneer in roll forming.  

We operate facilities in Jakarta, Medan and Surabaya, manufacturing an extensive range of steel building products from ZINCALUME® steel and COLORBOND® steel.
